I really thought this was the end for my Salvage Ferrari 360 Spider, but the car had a different agenda. Plus I bought a $700 Jeep Grand Cherokee wholesale (was a trade-in) at a dealer auction, and it was kinda nice, so we tried to get it to run….

  1. I would much rather see you flip some cars like this to completion than always on the cars I could never afford. I also know you don’t have time to finish everything because you have many projects but it would have been nice to see this one finished. Thanks for the channel and videos

  2. wild kinda guess here but thinking it could be out of time timing chain might of slipped causing the engine to be out of time and the valves to open when they should of closed

  3. I could use a camera since mine was stolen granted I had a beautiful Canon 10 megapixel but that was stolen now I married I could really use a camera again

  4. I would love that jeep the body's better than my Subaru ,I had a mechanic replace the thermostat and he put it in backwards(yay heroin) and now I can only drive it around town.

  5. I’d like to see a project finished to the point of detailing the interior, cleaning the dust off the engine bay, and shining up the wheels and tires

  6. I had a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The transmission got stuck in 1st gear on three separate occasions. I decided to get rid of it before the power train warranty expired

  7. This engine overheated to the point it dropped a valve seat and blew the head gasket.
Proper compression test-all spark plugs out, battery on a booster and throttle wide open.

  8. 100% sure that a valve seat fell out of the head. Common issue with the 4.7 jeeps and why nobody wanted such a clean nice vehicle. I've seen 2 have the valve seat fall out with under 5k miles on them and this happens. The amount of press fit they have on the valve seats isnt enough and once the aluminum head gets got it expands the hole and the press fit of the steel valve seat isnt enough to hold and the seat falls out. That is what you see on the scope. Now that the seat is out of the head cylinder compression is going into coolant passage under damaged valve seat. Also specialty tools and procedure are needed for timing on this engine. Every 4.7 is a gamble. Unless someone has redone the valve seats in both heads before there is an issue. Pull tge valve cover on that side and you will see a rocker gas fell out because valve can no longer close and spring is stuck down with bent valve.

  9. Bought a 2006 jeep from my client for $1000 turned out it only needed a shutoff relay. Only had 50k miles. Sold it $5,500 a couple days later
