HA HA!.I bought at auction a Cadillac Limo just like new for pennies on the original dollar. It was sinking very low in the back. As I drove it out of the yard I misjudged the exit and went over a high curb with right rear wheel. Bang! Suspension fixed. It was sold by title Highway Patrol used for three Governors. I played with it for a few.months and sold it to a Cadillac collector.

Indeed it is very strange, that auction house, lease company, or owner didn't let's inspect car and just throw away dozen thousands of dollars. I can guarantee, that this will never happened in EU, they will let inspect car into last screw.

If it has pressure, the AC compressor is pumping if the pressures are identical usually it’s the orifice tube or expansion valve.
The real reason they got rid of it was because it blew a flock of seals and could not justify keeping it. Everyone will be talking about that car for a very long time.

Can't you cut that hose or pipe to access that one single bolt and rejoin it with hose clamps or similar. It is look like not an exhaust pipe, must be some kind of air or coolant duct.
