I just won this Range Rover for $700 at a Car Auction. This Luxury SUV once cost over $75,000 new, and now they’re frequently sold for scrap value. So how bad is it???

  1. People pay to get rid of them because they cost so much to keep them running.
A woman tried to sell an β€˜02 to my wife for $25,000. It was 3 years old and had extremely low miles.
Her neighbor told me that car was in the shop more than it was in the driveway. I put the $25K down on an XC 90. Dodged a HUGE bullet!

  2. Yet when you buy a brand new one, the "Drive off the lot depreciation" taxes, fees, add-ons, destination charges, etc… financially totals even the brand new one. So, no win…

  3. I have a 2016 v8 lwb super charged black design package Range Rover that looks amazing that needs a new engine the mechanic told me. You can get it from me for 6k

  4. A utube car reviewer here, showed the land rover owners maintenance history, in a big manilla folder, it was a huge sheaf of many, many seperate serious issues work done. 200 pages. But the thrill was the dealership replaced the same exact very expensive parts multiple times ? And laughing said , most was still initially warranty covered, but now after warranty expired, the same mechanical problems continued.

  5. A beautiful tank that can't move. Or can't move very far. Or can't move without breaking down. Is useless and meaningless. But not to the tank company. They created a beautiful tank. They profit greatly. The well off suckers and -ools that give their money away suffer all the headaches. It's a genius strategy by the company.

  6. I talked to an old car dealer who had been in the business all his life. He said "All I ever found at auction was another man's trash". He only bought from individuals.

  7. If it weren't a Land Rover and thus, prone to all kinds of failures all the time, I'd put a $2500 trans in it. Then you'd have a brand new-looking RR for the whole ten minutes it takes it to break down again.

I used to own a '95 Disco. I will NOT make the mistake again of buying a Land Rover. Nope. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I've been the fool once.
