  2. I don't know about how much space there is there to access the bolt….. but maybe taping the motor bolt to an extension socket which would be connect to a ratchet or a drill and using a ratchet/drill to spin the motor would have made quick work of it….

  3. I had a flooded first floor once. The smell was incredible and hard to get rid of. Doesn't a flooded car have a smell problem?

  4. I cant find the next Video for this car. Is there a Video? Would love to see how far you get with your repair.

  5. Man you have balls of steel for trying to take on these projects, salt water is the great destroyer, hell just living near salt water slowly destroys cars, houses and even boats that are made for it😮

  6. Don't know why you decided to talk about or even mention Walmart but those tools are trash. I work on cars and started off with Walmart tools and they didn't last two months so yeah im sticking to at least harbor freight to tool trucks 🙃 Milwaukee to matco is where i will end up

  7. Just when I think you couldn’t be any worse at mechanics, you support walmart junk tools. I bet you would cage fight for a lost penny, huh?

  8. Hey Sam , Just experiencing the same issue. no power for me as well , removed the Bcm on F-pace its destroyed with salt water. One possible solution that MAY work looks as follows. If you still have the dedicated bcm , you can try to send it out to the electronics board repair shop and try to swap memory module from original bcm to the new one. If the memory part is not damaged , you may get lucky and run the car with no problems. Regards from Georgia . Really looking forward for this project.

  9. Hey , remember that if you have a bad ground the car won’t work ! The best way to fix that car would be to take it apart remove the harness completely and build one out of the old one !

  10. I'm following this Aston Martin story. Why can't you buy a ecu and matching paired key from a wrecked db9 from a salvage yard. Since the issue is programing?

  11. Sam, I heve seen the Aston on Copart this week. I have had highest bid, but the car was on approval. Are You still interesting to sell the car? Pls let me know

  12. You have to understand pal, that after 50 odd years of working & restoring, sometimes expensive motor vehicles, that once salt water has ingressed the electrical components , the car is totalled!

  13. No, you cannot fix it, only replace it. Saltwater even destroys the cables by converting the cupper inside into some black or green powder. Cables are crimped to the connectors, each crimp is gone. Each bearing each circuit board, each electrical motor, just everything. One drop of saltwater can be enough to destroy a circuit board. Best thing for you is to keep selling cheap Chinese tools.
