This C6 Corvette Z51 3LT with over 250,000 miles was left for scrap at my local car auction. I bought it dirt cheap and restored it only in a few days in a DIY fashion! It turned out to be an extremely well maintained car and should last another quarter million miles!

  1. Is there something wrong with the speedometer? At around 20:00 when you do a little test pull the car revs all the way out and looks like its going pretty fast but the speedometer only reads like 30 mph

  2. Really nice job, getting ready to bring my 02 out of garage been setting up for 5 years so needs a little TLC, 48k miles so shouldn't have to many issues been starting it occasionally keeping tender on it but I will be using rock auto for sure to freshen up the tune and oil change Really like the plastic restore, I don't need it on the vette it's never sat in the sun but will get some to use on my other vehicles, Thx…

  3. Corvettes are just simply the best performance bargain out there. The parts are inexpensive and available everywhere and they are easy to work on. I love me C5 and have enjoyed doing the little things to update it and make it more modern recently.

  4. 12 years ago now a friend of mine, who has a few bucks though not a dealer but has many, many vintage cars was at CT auction looking for an Equinox for his wife..(very frugal Italian, like me). There was a 2006 vet, 35K, an orangish color. Long story short, there was only one bid of $25K. He thought, it's worth more than that.. so before the gavel came down he bid $26 and one the car. He immediatly sent it to a NY state builder for a super charger.. 600HP. very very fast. he never did pick up an Equinox..
