  1. Hi Sam, We have seen you have just about any modern sports/luxury car brand/model: Ferrari, Porsche, Audi, Mercedes, Bentley, Corvette and so on.
Dont you ever come across any affordable Lotus or Lamborghini in you search?

  2. Me being a guy who loves cars buy doesn't work on them has no idea how that big American car should sound like. To me it sounded sweet. All powerful and V8 sounding, maybe V12. To me being untrained it sounded sweet but to the men there who are trained in engine tuning picked up a problem straight away.

  3. Sam – always a good rule of thumb to stay away from British cars and suvs of any kind. They may be fine for first couple years but buying one with >75k miles will always bring you to grief, Just dont have the investment into quality during design, development and esp Manufacturing

  4. His tire popped off? you mean he was DUI, hit a curb, broke the suspension and that was the first place he could pull into and start calling people before the cops showed up.

  5. I like the fact that people are 'scared' about IMS and bore score issues on the 996/997's. It allowed me, a poor bastard to get a mint '03 C4S with 50K milesfor less than $30K back in 2003. KIM that car that was over $80K when new! Did the IMS myself for less than $400 during a clutch service and use ZDDP and 5K mile oil changes. Super reliable and have been driving it like I stole it ever since. 143K now on the odometer and many smiles per gallon left. You did great on your 997 Sam! Don't let it go
