CHP Arrest in Compton

1. The Sgt. Can show up anytime they want. and if someone has warrant its always good to get backup.

2. The California Highway Patrol discontinued their press pass program because they realized it wasn't constitutional.  In my experience they are a department that respects and honors Americans 1st amendment right to observe and document public officials in public.

3. This is professional policing. Calm, organized, and respectful.

4. Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't the more thorough search have been done at the station instead of in the street and in public view? I thought only a superficial weapons check was in order in the street?
