  1. When the supreme Court authorizes something that is unconstitutional that doesn't mean it's OK or even lawful. The Constitution is above the supreme Court. Safety over freedom is a communist ideal.

  2. I was born in 1953 in So Cal and left there when I was 30 years old. The LAPD is crooked, they're dirty and corrupt. They have been for many many years and continue to be to this day.

  3. I dont get all the finger waving and balancing tests they do. Disabled people could fail the physical tests and be perfectly sober – why don't they just breathalyse everyone they suspect and have done with it rather than relying on something so flawed and lengthy?

  4. Got to make that monthly quota on fines and fake arrests! I know lets go and piss on the public like the sheep they are.

  5. Dui Ckeckpoints are really expensive to operate. They require mulitiple sworn officers to man various checkpoints. After an arrest is made the person arrestted turned over to another cop for transportation to the jail facility. Simply put, they are not cost effective.

  6. stay inside or ya might get illegally snatched up by these corrupt domestic terrorist pigs
for walking in your God given land

  7. Moral of the story!!!!

    Don't drink n drive
You won't be able to focus on the policeman when you're trying to run him over

  8. Don't be fooled by these police officers or the media that praises them,  they could care less about you and the safety of others. If DUI prevention actually concerned itself with matters of safety, why is it that only the poor are incarcerated and not the wealthy privileged? Ah yes, they have the MONEY to save them from the day of reckoning. DUI checkpoints or checkpoints in general are blatantly unconstitutional and huge money generators.

  9. Revenue pirates… they want your cars, drugs, and you in a cell/probation so they can charge tax payers
That being said, driving drunk is one of the dumbest things you can do.. C'mon people.

  10. in the state of california you do not have to submit to field sobriety test. you can opt for blood, fst is a guarantee to take a ride into court for city revenue.

  11. American police are so amateurish, go to the UK and get some proper training. You blow once and then the driver is given the tube (dna).

  12. I told my Lt. I would not work these checkpoints as I believed they violated citizens 4th Amendment rights and I took an oath to defend the Constitution and I would not break my oath for anyone. I was never asked to work them again. Be a real cop, honor your oath!

  13. he made an illegal u-turn where LEGAL u-turns are permitted to OPT OUT of DUI checkpoints…. cop speak i guess

  14. DUI tax.
I do like how you are better able to inform and even educate us by getting us information and insight with being cordial and asking simple friendly questions ftom officers. Really adds to the experience watching your vids.

  15. Notice when the LEO asked if he could help you, you asked a polite question and received helpful info. This is an outstanding video for that reason.

  16. The ONS videos I find the most informative are those when the reporter interacts with professional/ethical officers. In this case, the officer was as polite as we can expect.

I falsely assumed a person on DUI probation could still refuse the testing which this video clarified. I don't understand why anyone would have even one drink and get behind the wheel – oh yes, addiction.

  17. On 3 years probation for DUI, which means he can't refuse roadside testing? That's on him. Another stellar narration, Katman. Two other people in your video did NOT refuse the field sobriety tests which are VOLUNTARY (unless your on probation for DUI).
