San Leandro, California — On April 18, 2020, about 3:12PM, San Leandro Police Officers responded to Walmart, located at 15555 Hesperian Boulevard, for a report of a man brandishing a baseball bat inside the store. Upon their arrival, officers saw Steven Taylor standing near the shopping cart storage bay holding a baseball bat. Officers approached Taylor and gave him commands to put down the bat. Taylor did not comply with the officers’ commands and instead walked towards the officers while still holding the bat. An officer discharged his taser, which was not effective, and Taylor continued walking towards the officers. Then, the officer used his service weapon, striking Taylor once in his upper torso. Seconds later, another officer discharged his taser at Taylor. Officers called for paramedics and provided first aid until they arrived. Despite life-saving measures, Taylor died from his injuries at the scene. The officers involved were placed on administrative leave. On April 20, 2020, the Alameda County Coroner’s Bureau performed an autopsy on Taylor and the preliminary cause of death was determined to be a single gunshot wound to his chest. Additionally, the Coroner’s Bureau confirmed that Taylor did not sustain any additional gunshot wounds to his head or back.

Drop the bat!
Clean up on aisle 9.
Cop: "give me your hand"
Dead guy: "dead"
It's called the modern execution
A little more batting practice and he'll be able to swing on those 9mm hollow points.
Really.
Dispatcher was an idiot
At first I thought why didn't the second guy use his taser earlier until I saw that he just arrived.
Worst dispatch ever.
even in death they just can't stop resisting. amazing.
Nicely made intro video
Save brazilian
I don’t think that was justified tbh they should have waited for backup and gained distance from him. Lethal force should be an absolute last resort
Oh well
Bro. He deserved it
No I see why trails of blood are lest in games when they hut the arteries
MSNBC : “He was a good person. Turning his life around. Loved by all. Man of Godâ€
Yes the screaming woman is there. She is spending our hard earned tax dollars not hers with an access card.
Walmart in Wakanda
He thought he was black panther
Just have been a lot easier to drop the bat.
I love a show with a happy ending.
Yo what camera quality is that cause from ghe outside walmart looking kinda blocky
This is a prime example of “why didn’t you just use the taserâ€
US police are so crazy how you shoot a man with a bat? Talk to him use some social skills FFS. U.K. police would have just tased him police over there are outta control
Why does the thumbnail look like the person who has the bat look like he is playing baseball😂😂😂
it's easy… just comply…
The officer had already shot him, what was the need to tase him?
cops are cowards. there's no need to shoot, just tackle him
Alex: Cops are Cool!
I was about to say did he just miss point blank iron sight shot.
Hey man…. like the sign says. He got a touch free check out
The dispatcher sounds like an idiot.
in the midst of a chaotic situation, there is always that narcissistic, confucius individual that needs to be the centre of attention.
Its amazing how the hyenas come out the bush when they smell blood.🧸
Social Darwinism.
