10. I left a rather critical post on one of your other videos (and I'm hoping for an answer to the points I raised; it was the video on badge cams and dash cams). But I agree with you here 100%. Especially since those businesses being looted could have served as distribution centers for charity (as they often do; plenty of business owners are prepared to share their inventory with friends and neighbors under such circumstances… unless everything's been looted by opportunistic scavengers).

13. It's kind of a complicated situation. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between people who truly need supplies, see an abandoned store and see no other viable alternative other then stealing some of the stores contents, and people who are screwing others over.
    I agree that luxury goods don't justify any theft, but depending on the circumstances of the disaster, stolen necessities may not be automatically bad. Sneakers are a suspicious thing to steal, but it's not impossible for a family to have lost all their foot wear, either by having them be destroyed or separated. While walking bear foot on an average day ain't a big deal, I would imagine it being a much bigger problem in the middle of a natural disaster. Especially for kids.
    I hesitate to generalize all looters, and would hope there's enough help to alleviate people of using such desperate methods as well as keep track of who's abusing the situation in an unjustified way. The more specific information I have about a specific looter, the more comfortable I am passing judgement.

27. I agree with you Mike the Cop. Its one thing if one loots to get supplies to survive, its another thing when you have no power, and stealing brand new tvs to pawn or black market it. With Irma, Florida did excellent in making the arrests to those law breakers. Mike the cop, you could quiz me on law enforcement order, constitution, and I would pass with over a 90%.
