A DeKalb County native and former player in the National Football League is in jail after leading police on a high speed chase following an alleged robbery at a cell phone store. Former Denver Broncos defensive end Quanterus Smith is facing a number of charges, including armed robbery, theft and fleeing police and was denied bond during a court appearance. This all comes after Smith and two other men allegedly stole iPhones at gunpoint from an AT&T location on Thornton Road in Douglas County. Deputies spotted the vehicle and a chase ensued before ending in a crash nearby and it was all caught on dash cam video. A black handgun was recovered from the scene. Smith attended Grayson High School in Loganville and went to college at Western Kentucky University. He was drafted in the fifth round by the Denver Broncos and played in 15 games before being released.

  1. Not a safe call to do the pit maneuver. There was too much traffic nearby, he could have easily flicked and gone the wrong direction into oncoming traffic. It was by a stroke of luck this went as cleanly as it did.

  2. Bald police officer is just trying to keep a sight on target while the other police officer keeps walking in front of him.

  3. Good good good super super super 👍👍🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾

  4. Is this the sad story of an athletic kid that was allowed to get away with breaking the law because he could play a sport? The kid that without that sport would've ended up in prison at 19? Then once done playing and pissing away all the money reverts back to the piece of shit he's always been just no agents there to protect him now.
