So I was curious enough about thos to find case law. The TSA has way more broad grounds to search than we do. They dont need pc, nor is there a distinction between a pat and a search. I guess there is no need for Terry v Ohio in an airport.
Given that info i guess this creep was acting within their legal bounds. I mean they still fall under reasonable standards. However that easy enough to say. I think this case comes down to most of the grey area stuff. Is this tsa dude/dudette a wierdo? Yes. Could they have been more professional or professional? Yes. Were they wrong given the letter of the law? Absolutely not.
Just have him go through a TSA check point
