#Roadto100k We did it! 4k likes on the original California Highway Patrol video. We unlocked the 1982 Ford Mustang SSP Fox body 5.0. This thing used to chase Porsches for a living! Make sure you stay until the end of the video for a sneak peak at the next Police Cars installment

Nick great video of this 1982, CHP Mustang. I restore these 1982-1993 CHP Mustangs, 1987,1989 and 1995, CHP Caprices and the 2002, CHP Camaros. My CHP restoration videos are on you tube and come out to see the CHP cars I restore for this interesting hobby with CHP cars.
Damn I wanted to hear the siren.
There ain’t no well in hell you can convince me that this paltry 82 2bbl 5.0 mustang was a better CHP chase car than the experimental 79 Z28 with a 350 4bbl.
Good luck seeing that single red ass light during a bright ass day.
Looks like you came up short on those likes Homie.
I would love to get behind the wheel of that Mustang and go for a little rip along the 405. Thanks for sharing.

those stangs killed more officers than any car nation wide–one mistake in them they spun out–the crown vics were much much safer
One of the coolest police cars I've ever seen would love too see in person.
I always thought marked police cars without a light bar on top look pretty strange.
3:35 I have a mustang coupe 5 speed I can shift,text and drink a soda lol jk
Respect for SUA Police â¤ï¸
Nick you should try to check out the Ventura County Sheriffs Department. New Mobile Command Post, rook armored tractor, bearcat, tahoe, and 3 brand new blackhawk helicopters.
I love those guys man
Any comfortable stick driver can do just as much while driving as and automatic driver.
I think Nick – you guys are the masters of distracted driving – and the easier they make all that is going on – like an earplug audio to even audio visual eyeglasses to keep your hands on the wheel, or your gun. I think technology is on those that put their lives on the line everyday for me, and my community and a great investment. God Bless. Great stuff, I did a ride-along, and my Stepfather – only Dad I had – was a Police Officer – retired, since passed. I came home from the military – locked me up on the fake in a cell, and introduced me to the Chief. Service, and having a sense of duty is what I learned to give back to my community, and my country. I will never forget the sacrifice of every man and women on the front line, protecting me.
That car only needed the one red light, When it came On It meant one thing, You best be pulling over!
Hey @NickOFFDuty, I’m not sure if it’s possible, but it would be really cool to show your OHIO fans some love! You should come up here and do an episode on one of our new Chargers with THE Ohio State Highway Patrol!! (Maybe when it gets warmer though, I know you like your Florida heat😂)
Hey Nick i wear the badge, even though I'm not a CHP officer, I'm a future CHP officer.
No, "riding shotgun" refers back to the Old West and riding stage coaches. You had the driver who handled the reins, and then you had the guy next to you with a shotgun to protect the stage coach from bandits.
No, the Dodge Charger Pursuit is NOT the equivalent to the 1982 Mustang SSP. Sure, today the current Charger is faster than the Mustang (probably even the V6 beats it). But in 1982 the Dodge Diplomat composed much of CHP regular fleet, with the Mustang being a special high performance interceptor that soundly outperformed the regular fleet. But now, the Charger composes of CHP's regular fleet, and there's no specialty vehicle that outperforms it.
Can you do a CHP polar bear fleets.
YO! THAT LAPD TESLA LOOKS SICKJFHDLKGSY800TFGD KHGHDFOIAHYHDEFWYUTR
when are u gonna make police videos again
May I ask what kind of siren MPD uses?
That's so cool and I suprized the police car has manual trance mission.
My image in there US I think 99% of cars are AT.
I think then here in Japan over 90% cars were manual.
But now over 95% of cars AT.
I know that the whip antenna was used for the police radio. When I was a cop, we used to talk to the CHP when the "skip" ran from W.Va. on 42.120 Mhz
This is more like a movie/TV Series for CHiPs
I'd love to see if LAPD or CHP still has any of those old 80s-90s Kawasaki KZ1000s!
really neat to see it kept and all original. Just because of how old it is still don't really care for it, much prefer the later Fox body Mustangs in 87 onward. And of course the 98 and up Crown Vic.
As a young teenager. Going between the Bay Area and LA we would stop off I-5 Buttonwillow truck stop. And they was always have between three to four of those Mustangs there.
The term riding shotgun came from the stage coach days when people and money were transported around in a stage coach. There was the driver of the stage coach and someone sitting next to him with a double barreled shotgun. The person with the shotgun would “ride†holding the shotgun.
IDENTIY THEFT ISNT A JOKE JIM. MILLONS OF FAMILYS SUFFER EVERY YEAR
The real term riding shotgun came from the Wild West era when the stage coach was transporting money the driver would have someone sitting next to him with a shotgun hence the term riding shotgun
LAPS Tesla?
Finnaly Another vid came out I want another patrol Vid
Great video Nick
Please come to Indiana! Review with Indiana State Police.
The LX 5.0L was a great pursuit car.
6000 likes to see nick do a Lapd video ride along and vehicles
Would have been much cooler if they would have taken this Mustang on one of the freeways to see people's reactions😜ðŸ˜ðŸ¤£ðŸ‘😎
