I ordered up a patrol series build from Agency Arms recently ( http://www.agencyarms.com/ ) and while they did not ask if I would make a video about the build, I did ask their permission to do so and include their product and found the entire experience with the company to be an awesome one.
In this video I discuss what modifications were done to upgrade a stock model Glock 17 (Gen 3) and take it to the range for the first time. Can’t wait to acclimate and do some moving exercises more than just target plinking. Definitely have to work on that shot anticipation.
ALSO: In rewatching my own video I got a little bored, honestly. I should have gotten to the point sooner or spoken more succinctly but I wanted to get fresh content to you guys more than I wanted to remake the explanation part of the video. It is what it is.

I'll be having a pretty busy week this week so enjoy fighting in this self-appointed pinned comment where you can beat the world's deadest horse with the stick of 9mm vs. .40
Mike thank you for your service
i do bjj 2 weeeeeeeee
Glocktore competition spring kit will bring your glock to the next level of accuracy. Stock trigger will also slow you down
Your glock is basically stock, with cosmetic mods. Some grip textures is all you did. Lol
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. ðŸ˜
Stippling and slide serrations, as well as trigger guard mods are all what comes stock on sig p365. Can you do a video on p365 vs glock ? Dying to see how you like the p365. I was a glock guy until i held and shot the p365
Damn was about to try and get mikes number but he's not a teenage girl.
Nice shooting Mike….lets see a more recent range run….
I know this is an older video but man you make great content and have only strengthened my respect for cops in general. I've been bouncing around to most of your videos regardless of how old they are. Love the content man.
I am sorry, but I can't take you seriously with that target.
A 9 mm! over a fo-tay! You must be a girlie-man … LOL – just joking!
Best night site advice I've ever heard was from Thunder Ranch and that's if you can't see your sights you cant see who or what your shooting at so you probably shouldn't be throwing lead if you cant see what or what is behind where your shooting. Unless you have someone actively shooting at you don't shoot where you cant see. It's one of the top rules know what your shooting at and whats behind it.
So your saying your not a teenager so than by process of elimination your just a 40 yr old going through puberty late…. 😆
I was really hoping you joined the dot life when you got an agency. Still a great gun
what distance is he shooting at?
Where do you train Jiu Jitsu?
I think the best part of your videos, Mike is that you get to do this with your son.
You like the perfect person to play some shooty shoooty videogame, see your accuracy 😉
If a Cop Shoots someone, they will be getting sued, period. Its doesn't really matter what modifications that they have done to the Pistol.
Nice gun. That's cool you shoot with your son. I shoot with my son all the time. I have some days where he absolutely smokes me. But you know what those are the greatest loosing moments of my life lol. Shooting is just plain fun.
badass gun. "i dont use sights". goddamnit. every time i see something like "crapload of bystanders hit in shootout" its always somebody with a glock spraying rounds without looking. force yourself to get into the habit of lining the sights up with your dominant eye when shooting. dont be that guy in the paper. you are better than that.
Mike are you still a full time cop or what’s happening as you’ve been doing a lot of travelling
Duck,a laser is between your eyes.
I started my career in ‘68 w/a Colt .38 revolver, then a variety of S&W .38s all supplied by my department. We transitioned to the Glock 23 (.40) in the late ‘80s and I finally retired in late ‘97. As to the sights I survived three deadly encounters w/my department .38 and only had time to use my sights one time, to save a hostage by shooting the hostage taker.
Who else wanted them to magdump the alien
That's cool actually seeing the bullet going down range sometimes
Get one of those pistol corrective pie charts. Works like a champ! Where ever your land on target, the pie chart tells you how to correct it.
Every Glock owner.."Glock is the best firearm ever made!" (After a month in the the custom shop.)
Also every Glock owner "Its definitely not the gun. Its me."
How long have you been doing Jiujitsu?
Love you videos brother! I feel like you know this but the second grip that you showed with your left hand thumb on top is always going to have a tendency to pull you left and down. Again constructive loving comment, I feel like you already know that but you didn't reference it interact with that part of it other than just saying you were not being a great shot that day. Keep it up brother and stay safe!
I'd personally prefer the p226 in 9mm, but as for the 9 vs. .40 debate… I'll keep my sig sp2022 in .357sig. 😎
Meow?
How much did that cost to upgrade Mike?
I'm Canadian, and I'm pretty sure I could outshoot you both. Eh.
U.P.P. re-grips after each shot.
Gen4 FS series come with night sights and serrations from the factory, if anyone wants something similar without trash sights.
Spends three times more for an upgraded glock, is too cheap to spend $100 on decent sights.
