32. this wasn't a "harsh criticism" of anything. Boys will be boys and that hasn't changed. its a warning to beware the nature of masculinity to make choices that have lasting consequences (often negative)

    this was nothing more than a reminder that the world is a dangerous place. besides that, our system worked the boys worked together and didn't break under pressure and the watchmen pulled them out of the fire. Its a shit day for everyone and no doubt they will learn to avoid a dam storm drainage canal as a playground in the future.

    Every man in this setting was an example of "boys will be boys", they will grow up hard and fast and dangerous and then save the lives of the next generation given half the chance.

49. Wow. I've been in a rip tide in Hawaii before. Water is a powerful force. It has no emotion, it has only the will and capacity to push, pull, crush and kill. You cannot resist it for long and you cannot win a fight against it. These boys need to thank and praise God for being alive and living in a country where the police would risk their own lives to save them.
