A unmarked #NYPD vehicle was spotted by Copwatch Patrol Unit conducting traffic speed enforcement traps without a Speed Radar Gun in the Bronx…It is procedure for officers that conduct speed traps to record the speed of any vehicle that is stopped for speeding, the driver has the Right to ask to see the result of the Radar Gun and the recorded speed, however, these officers are writing speeding tickets without this required device.
