Amory Michelle Olivadoti Borgens was born on May 4, 1984 and was struck by a vehicle and unexpectedly taken from us on February 6, 2016. She was 31 years of age. She was raised in Manhattan Beach and spent almost all her life in the South Bay. Amory attended local schools including American Martyrs, Grand View, Manhattan Beach Intermediate and Mira Costa. She became a licensed Pharmacy Technician. Her work experience, however, also included the Los Angeles Marathon Organization, and CAN (Cure Autism Now). Music was always important to Amory. She learned to play the piano at a very young age and had a lovely voice. Although she enjoyed snowboarding, running was her preferred mode of exercise. As a youth, she enjoyed soccer, basketball and even played lacrosse on a school team. As a member of The Inglewood Show Team, she enjoyed doing drill along with her cousins. Amory liked to stay busy with projects including sewing, art, and cooking. Family always looked forward to the special dishes that she prepared for holiday celebrations. There was nothing that Amory treasured more than the love and support of her friends. The family appreciates the loyalty and care of so many through the years. Amory will be deeply missed by her parents, Frank and Elynor Olivadoti; her younger brother Vincent, and her three children, Dominick, Braelyn and Jonathan, whom she loved with all her heart. She was loved dearly by many aunts, uncles, and cousins and was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest and Myrtle Ruffo and Frank and Anna Olivadoti. All of us will hold Amory in our hearts forever. May you rest in peace, dear Aym.
Unbelievable! There is nothing that can be said. 93days for killing someone
#FreeEricBrandt from a lunatic sentence.
END SOVEREIGN CITIZEN JUDGES
There is more to the sentencing story. DUI vehicular manslaughter is usually 7 to 12 years and out in about half. He has to be a cop, politician, or DA's relative. Good Job reporting.
Wtf…. no one should lose their 4th amendment right by some fucking judge. Nor their 2nd amendment right
He’s goddamn lucky I wasn’t the judge handing down the sentence or he’d be spending the next 15 years behind bars, no chance of parole
What a complete travesty and gross miscarriage of justice. Who's this jerk's Daddy ? HAS to be some kind of political or financial connections in this one. This BAD .. even for CA.
And Eric Brandt got 12 years for having hopes, wishes, and prayers.
THAT IS BULLSHIT HE SHOULD OF DID TIME FOR VEHICULAR MANSLAUGHTER. HE MUST HAVE KNOWN SOMEONE OR PAID SOMEONE OFF TO GET OFF AND TO PAY $5446.00 IN RESTITUTION IS A JOKE AND A SMACK IN THE FACE TO THE FAMILY!!
WHO WAS THE JUDGE IN THIS CASE?
..and others get 12 years in prison for words. System shows us its real priorities, we just need to pay attention
We can't be the judge if 3 months was enough time based on the information in this video. Hopefully the actual judge did their due diligence. Depends on if the guy is shows remorse, is a risk, how drunk he was, etc.
That's just a slap on the wrist.
This why they keep drinking and driving. There isn't any big penalty.
WTF. 3 months in jail for getting drunk and killing someone.
Trafficking in marijuana: up to 40 years in prison.
It says something when the sentence is so lenient, like the bicyclist was probably at fault but because he was under the influence he got charged, if he was sober, he probably wouldn't have been charged at all!!
Absolutely ridiculous!!!
wow, … so basically drunk driving does not carry serious penalty
Good reporting. Thanks for following the story and posting the outcome.
