21. I recognized Lt. Goetz right away. He is such a smartass, condescending, patronizing, insulting and arrogant pig. I particularly didn't like his verbal jabs at Ricky!! It makes my blood boil every time I see him.

It's not as if he can't carry on a 3 way conversation, he just has to show who's in charge by controlling the conversation down to who has permission to speak and when. Lt. This exchange is in reference to an arrest by Hawthorne PD of Dan in which he was arrested for having a hidden audio recorder and recording a conversation between himself and I believe a Sgt in the lobby of the police department.  Despite there being NO law prohibiting this act, the Lt seems to think that there was a law prohibiting it at the time.  However, if that was the case, the Sgt. Swain should have been arrested as well because he was also recording with a hidden audio recorder.  As usual, Lt. Goetz is uninformed about the laws in California and the First Amendment right to audio and video government officials.  This unlawful arrest resulted in the hard working tax payers of Hawthorne having to make money for the mistakes of the police officers.  Of course the officers involved didn't have to take responsibility for their actions.
