Onus News Service – when I see an officer wearing so many service stripes thats not promoted, I can already tell you what kind of officer he is going to be, as evidenced by him removing his camera and pointing it over at you out of contempt… thats an officer who needs yet ANOTHER complaint filed on him, because clearly all the ones he likely has with that many service stripes still haven't taught him how to be a good officer, send him into retirement with one last complaint… P.S. for those who don't know what I mean by service stripes, the short lines near the cuff of a uniform are for years of service, depending on the department its 3,4,5 years each stripe, so when you see an officer with THAT many who is still a basic officer, not a corporal or SGT, he's been passed over for promotion MANY times in his long career, and which speaks volumes considering the attrition rates and length of career for the average officer in a department of larger municipalities…
