April 9th, 2016 : A traffic accident on Gardena Blvd just east of Normandie injured 7 people with two in critical condition. The crash may have been related to an earlier assault with a deadly weapon.
Hawthorne police responded to a call on 142nd Street of 4 individuals entering an apartment while the renter was away on vacation. No suspects were found and no evidence of burglary.
