Crazy how dramatically different our drug laws are now. With weed being virtually legal and getting caught with a little heroin/meth/crack/etc. you just a misdemeanor/ticket. A TON of these people would not be arrested/booked into jail now days.

Every time I go to my nearby big city, I smell pot while in traffic at least once a day and sometimes I also smell it with doing 70 in highway traffic. The pot industry promised us endlessly that legalizing dope would result in fewer problems but the exact opposite has happened. Pot got legalized, we tax payers are footing the bill for a huge amount of increased public costs due to pot use and ALL drugs use has skyrocketed all across our state, in the city and in the rural areas.
Wow! Every time I see kids get neglected like this, I would damn near cry! Who would leave with their mom, knowing that she drinks, and do drugs? He or she should be locked up as well!

I remember the child neglect segment when I watched this episode as a kid. Heartbreaking 🥺🥺🥺 I always cried when they show episodes with kids tbh because it broke my heart kids in dangerous situations like this one. Hope the 2 kids are doing well today
