Albuquerque – @CopsConsTV obtained lapel video of a DWI stop. The stop was unique because the driver already had a suspended drivers license from previous DWI arrests and convictions. The restricted drivers license allows her to drive only with an interlock system installed in any vehicle she owns.. The interlock system allows a driver to start their vehicle after breathing sober breaths into a hose installed in conjunction with the cars ignition system.
During this night the driver had her 11 year old sister breathe into the hose for her to start the car since she knew she had been drinking and the car would not allow her to start with her own breath sample.

As a Native American it saddens me how bad drug and alcohol problems are in our community. I've had to blow into my mom's interlock for a few years as a preteen ans teen. My sister and I have had our own struggles as well throughout the years. It's truly devastating to see people you love and to see yourself in similar situations. It's a daily struggle but it gets easier with time. I pray she was able to get the help she needed not just for her children and family but for herself too.

I have a feeling her daughter must do this frequently. She has a drinking problem and needs to get some help because if she doesn’t one of these times she’s going to hurt someone including her daughter

I am late to the show but…..I thought being a nurse required a ton of patience, God bless these guys. The stories are frustrating to listen to so imagine this as your job that you don't get paid enough to do already…..let alone the risk of being killed at work too!
