An Albuquerque Officer was on foot patrol when he witnessed a known drug dealer on public property. As soon as the Officer tried to contact the suspect he ran. The suspect had a fully loaded firearm in his waistband but very fortunately for the Officer was unable to retrieve it while running away.

The suspect ran away (fast forward to 10:15) not realizing the chasing Officer is a serious marathon runner. In other words he wasn’t gonna tire any time soon.

Officer C.J. as everyone knows him as, has been an Officer for over 30 years and he competes in several marathons throughout the country, most frequently a Law Enforcement only event called Baker to Vegas where he is Albuquerque’s Team Captain.

  1. Ah yes, “Dragon Bell”, the show of my childhood.

Those cops were lucky. Based on all his screaming, he was that close to going super saiyan.

  2. When you can scream over and over again that you can’t breathe, you are breathing! Dumbass

  3. I was expecting a long crazy run that started from afar to watch the officer catch up. This was just another cat and mouse chase that lasted only seconds.

  4. 10:50 Taser takedown. Good police work keeping dealers off the streets!
The only thing missing … a crowd of ignorant bystanders whining about police brutality. Perhaps it was early in the day?

  5. You know when you can tell a persons IQ begins with a decimal point by their face….. That's some police force.
Is the whole state of NM under giant power lines?

  6. 10:15 Why didn't he say no?
I'm not familiar with NM law, but to walk up to someone who in all appearances hasn't broken the law, and search them, can't be legal. (Fourth Amendment).
(I'm certainly not siding with the criminal, just interested in law).

  7. One time I got suspended from school because I ran away from the principals office after smoking weed in the school building before a field trip. I got away and hid everything I had on me and when I came back out to the golf course there was the school hall monitor who was also a marathon runner coming at me at full speed. I had a heavy backpack full of books and drinks and lunch for the field trip but I still eluded the guy. I ran into the woods and ran like 8 miles home. I used to be one of the fastest runners in my high school. It was a pretty comical story to retell and I’m lucky I did not get caught. I got to make up the entire school year in summer school and I got straight A’s.
