Greenfield, Wisconsin — On August 22, 2021, a Greenfield police officer witnessed 31-year-old Tyran Lamb run a red light. The officer, who is labeled as “Officer 1†in the video, activated his lights and siren and attempted to stop Lamb. The officer tried several times to get Lamb to pull over and park, only to have him continue to flee from police. A backup officer arrives and Lamb speed away from her and Officer 1. Efforts to stop Lamb continued with a third officer deploying spike strips – a tire deflation device – to get Lamb to stop but he continued to flee, crashing into another driver. Lamb vehicle’s air bags deployed, and he refused to show officers his hands, so the threat to the officers inside the vehicle was unknown. Officers draw their guns and ordered Lamb to show them his hands 18 times, which he refused to do. A bystander interject herself into this scene, causing the officers to divert their attention from the suspect. Officer 1 gets right up to the windshield to try and see both Lamb’s hands. Suddenly Lamb shoots multiple times at Officer 1 through the windshield, hitting him. As the suspect ran away, he jumped over the downed officer, firing at him at point blank range. Lamb died a short distance away after being shot by police. Body camera footage shows the officer on the ground, a backup officer rushing to provide life-saving measures. Officials said the Greenfield officer who was shot is now recovering at home and is expected to make a full recovery.

This was just embarrassing. I support our police, but come on! He fired three rounds at an officer and they all just stood there. We trained them to be better than this, and they get crap for it because they were too good that people started calling them killers. So now they are more careful because they don't want to be called racist or a killer and this happens. What life is more important America. The lives of the men and women protecting us or the lives of the people who MADE their decision to hurt others. "Please don't let me die…" the words of a father, a husband, a son, a brother… because of the decision of someone who enjoys hurting others and our law enforcement can't do much about it without being called Racist, fascist, Pigs, Killers… the list goes on. How much longer does America need to deal with this crap. Is everyone good? No, but can we fix that? Yes! Not all police are going to be good but just because of a couple of situations in the last year… does not make ALL COPS BAD! Now our law enforcement is TO SCARED to open fire on someone without being called Racist, put on trial, and followed home by strangers who damage and threaten that family. The police now wait until someone gets really hurt until they open fire because they want to keep THEIR family safe from the riots. AM I WRONG?
