Florida, Florida — The Indian River County Sheriff’s officials released body camera footage showing his Deputies firing the shots that wounded a teen armed with a gun who had just fled from the back seat of a car following a traffic stop. In the early morning hours of Saturday, June 11, IRCSO responded to shots fired in Gifford on 38th Avenue. Deputies monitored the area and initiated a traffic stop at approximately 9 p.m. the same day. Deputies had identified the vehicle and occupants as suspects in the shots fired call, as well as burglaries throughout the community, including the theft of firearms.
Jamall Frederick, a passenger in the vehicle, was told not to touch the gun that deputies saw through the window. As deputies opened the door, Frederick aggressively grabbed the firearm thereby making him an immediate threat to law enforcement and the community. With Frederick on the ground, deputies approach and give clear instructions for him to raise his hands. Ignoring their orders, Frederick presents a firearm, stands up, and escapes into the residential neighborhood. A K-9 unit leads a search team of deputies and locates Frederick hiding in an enclosed porch of a nearby home. He is taken into custody and deputies immediately render first aid and call for EMS.
The suspect was identified as Jamall Frederick, 19, of Fort Pierce. He is a known convicted felon who was in possession of a firearm. Frederick was transported to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center and treated for his wounds. He is in stable condition and spoke with our investigators on Saturday night. Another passenger of the vehicle, identified as Zbryius Jones, 181 was arrested for a probation violation. The suspect’s gun was recovered near the scene and a second firearm was found in the vehicle. Both firearms were reported stolen in a recent series of residential and auto burglaries. The other two people in the vehicle were released. They remain under investigation.

It used to be, “If you run, we will hunt and catch you.†Nowadays it’s, “If you run, I will shoot you.â€
Them there dark peoples is hard to see at night.

BLM sure helped out the black community .
Florida. Pop em all
Dang too bad he survived
It was early 4 of July for the officers.
Unjustified to shoot a fleeing suspect in the back
How could they shoot this guy! All he wanted to do was go to the bathroom!!
Jesus fucking God damn do they know what's beyond their target??
Lil target practice
These cops have stormtrooper aim because homie survived
Running from the cops can and will get you killed… Just a friendly reminder
i am ashamed about the lack of diversity in these felons…throw some asians in there lol
They lit him up. Noice
Of course he survived all those shots to the head. There’s nothing in there! The bullets just bounced around for a bit.
So sad to hear that there were survivors
Lived to be a felon another day!
Imagine if he would have just got out and cooperated. Just imagine
Great Job Officers‼ï¸Another POS off the streets 👠👠🇺🇸
Typically, I side w the citizen but he made a bad choice. Dealing w cowards, like that. Didn't even see the gun tbh. They lit him up alright tho didn't they? And the cop that sent the second volley was the ULTIMATE COWARD. Guys already down. Grow a pair. Or quit for the sake of the country.
Black lives…. Lol nvm.
Good job boys. Smoke that piece of shit.
Shooting a man with a weapon that's running away from you is not a threat. Furthermore, there're are no civilians in the immediate vicinity and direction he was headed.
Hopefully, these cops are charged with a crime; or fired at the least.
The usual suspect. Too bad he is not dead. He will be out and become a menace again.
Can you get shot in the back for running?
