Tragic Irony? If anyone were to compile real statistics, MLK would probably be the street name with the most crime across America. (Most big cities have a street named in honor of Martin Luther King) They usually traverse inner city, beleaguered areas where the struggle is real. The violence and trespass that permeates those places gives no respect for the man or the ideals he espoused… Or is it that his dream is just that, a wish unrealized without now commitment, cohesion or a champion? Is it befitting that across America his street exemplifies what he was trying to change?
