Officer Robert Almeida of the Cook County Sheriff’s Police Department responds to a call of three adolescent boys throwing rocks from an overpass. The man who reported the incident tells Officer Almeida that he was in the car with his wife and two daughters when the rocks hit his vehicle causing his wife to swerve and almost cause an accident. He located the boys and asked them who had been throwing rocks. Two of the children’s mothers arrive and confront their respective children regarding the incident and admonish them for their bad behavior. One of the moms tells the officer she is glad this happened as her son needed a wakeup call. Officer Almeida tells the mothers that he is glad they showed up because that means they care about their boys.

  1. I wish they had shown the whole segment. There was another mother of one of the other boys who was so pissed that steam was coming out of her ears. She had a look on her face that had me apologizing to my own mother!! Her response to her son's actions? "You’re in the house 'til this time next year!!" She wasn't kidding either!!"

  2. There should be a science camp in every county, for every kid that does some dumb shit like this. Some teenagers did pretty much the same thing in Michigan in 2017 and they killed somebody. The government has plenty of money to build, sell, and drop bombs all over the world… We can fund a program like that. Your county might be poor but there are plenty of others that aren't. Around $50 billion has gone to Ukraine in security assistance since their war began… Meanwhile we've had decades of a starving education system for our own. We have the funds, it's just a matter of our Reps using those funds logically and effectively to better our own communities.
