On January 2, 2020 officers of the Cleveland Police Department raided a house located at 2918 Minnie Ave. A search warrant had been granted and the occupants were to be brought in on charges of drug trafficking, endangering children, and possession of criminal tools, but once officers arrived they found something else: twelve dogs and evidence of a dog fighting operation. It even emerged that one of the arrestees had a long history of criminal charges relating to dog fighting. So the drug raid expanded.

Animals control officers responded to the scene, seizing the twelve dogs and tacking on more charges for the arrestees — for dog fighting and cruelty to animals.

  1. They make their dog fight to a horrible extent just so they don't have to fight, real men get in the ring themselves, pussies put the dogs In for a scrap

  2. This absolutely broke my heart. Imagine having to respond to this call, and uncovering this.. Officers deserve more respect.

  3. My uncle adopted a pit rescued from fighting. Teeth out ready to kill, his drunk ass said “take her out the cage” she turned into a lil baby and is obsessed with him

  4. In my opinion, animal abuse should carry the same penalties as child abuse. After all, both animals and children require adult supervision, the rely on the adults for food, exercise, medical appointments and care. Both are unable to provide for themselves. This type of abuse of keeping these dogs in these conditions and fighting them too is horrific. Those poor dogs have lived their entire lives in cages and are likely only let out to fight, etc. The sad part is, that most dogs taken from situations like these are often euthanized before they're given a chance to settle in, calm down and have their medical issues dealt with. Only then can their true personality and aggression level can be fairly evaluated. Lock these pricks up and toss the key. See how they like living in a cage and relying on someone else for everything.

  5. I don’t understand the pleasure that people get out of watching two animals fight to the death or near death. The disgusting conditions that these poor animals are held in and then the things they have to do just to “earn their keep” is despicable. I was just reading what the penalties are against people that are caught running a dog fighting ring and each count carries up to three years in jail and a $250,000 fine. The thing is is that unless you are a repeat offender they typically lower the jail time and the fines. What we are seeing in this video is just what’s going on at the time but who knows how many dogs have been killed from this person‘s barbaric form of entertainment. We can only hope that the consequences were the max considering this was not the first time this has happened for them.

  6. These people should be chained up in those same pens they kept the dogs. Guarantee all of the dogs were put down.

  7. And most of those dogs haven't been fighting, it just breaks my heart, these fighting pitbulls make great guard dogs for farmer's against, wolfs, coyotes, foxes,s ect

  8. Hitler was a staunch advocate for animal rights, this kind of thing would not happen if people adopted his philosophies on nature.

  9. This is absolutely heartbreaking 😩 I don’t understand why anyone could do this 😡 it really makes me mad that their aren’t sticker laws for animal abuse! I think every state needs to toughen up their animal abuse laws and what people would receive. Puppy mills and dog fighting should never be allowed to happen and these monsters who do it deserve life in prison!!

  10. Grr! F'ing scum!
I don't know what possesses people to be involved in dog fighting I don't know why or how people can watch anything like that wtf is wrong with some people? Seriously! Smh.

  11. Animal cruelty should be life in prison. Maybe then they will know what it feels like to spend all day in a cage when they aren't being forced to do something they don't want to do.
