Deputy Matthew Graham of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office attempts to serve a warrant on a young woman who missed a court date. Deputies made contact with the woman’s mother who refuses to open the door. She is quick to turn the deputies away, claiming that she is bathing her dog and cannot leave it unattended. Deputy Graham explains that he just wants to confirm that her daughter is not inside the residence. The woman finally relents and opens the door. After a brief search, the young woman is located hiding in a small closet under a pile of clothes. When Deputy Graham asks her why she was hiding she claims to have been hiding from her ex-boyfriend. She then explains that she did attend court and tried to speak to a judge but couldn’t find anyone in the courthouse. The woman is arrested for failing to appear in court and will have a chance to explain her absence to the judge.

  1. Mom, should have been charged for obstruction, if they wanted to go that route. But clearly shows, they were extremely nice in this arrest.
This should be "Cops & Liars", the baddies 99.9% lie.

  2. She may have a warrant but…3 big guys don't need to be all that extra. I think some cops get their rocks off when they have a chance to rough someone up, it's things like that that makes them unlikeable

  3. I don't understand how people don't know their rights. She didn't have to open the door. Notice how the officer said, "finally I had convinced her to open the door." Constant persistence is one of their tricks. Unless they have a warrant they can't enter. These cops just want to get paid via their quota. Another person in jail is a nice check for them.

  4. Why does the main cop in this video look like the dude from the movie Blow? The private plane pilot that Johnny Depp is trying to hire. In the scene where the girlfriend slaps the other partner and she sticks her in the restroom.

  5. In no way shape or form does her hiding in a closet justify them manhandling her. That’s clearly not the SOP. Before I got sober (3.5 years as of a month ago) I ran from the police many times having warrants and wherever I was living they always told them to get a search warrant before they entered their/my home. Even with the dozens of times I did get away when I did sporadically get caught they always secured me in a professional manner. You can’t justify excessive force with your frustration, as an 18 year old E3 with the 82nd 1st/504th in OIF there was so many times on checkpoint details that I wanted to yank these idiots out of their cars, flexicuff them and black site them but that wasn’t the SOP and without any Intel indicating they’re a threat it’s very unprofessional. If I, as a kid knew this and was able to conduct myself accordingly in a WAR ZONE, police officers should be able to do the same.
