Officer Michael Roberts – Portland Police Bureau
Officer Roberts and Fender make contact with a couple of people in a parked car. After talking to the male passenger he tells the officers that he has a warrant. He is placed in cuffs and then states that he stole the car. Officer Roberts gets the female passenger out and he finds a little bit of meth in her purse. They can’t confirm the car is stolen but the male suspect says he lied about stealing the car so that the female would not get in trouble. The male suspect goes to jail for his warrant and Officer Roberts talks to the female passenger about quitting meth.

  1. That officer took a chance that many would not think of. Hope like it said, she uses it very wisely, dumps all people that would get her in trouble, seek all help to rid her of her problems. If more did this, may clean up the problem. Well done officer! God bless, look over you at all times.

  2. This guy is waaaaay too intelligent, articulate, compassionate, and thoughtful to be a police officer. He could easily be an author or a psychologist. He honestly sounds more like a classically trained actor playing a cop than a legitimate cop.

  3. Decent cop. Others should follow his example. Just because someone has a little bit of dope doens't mean they have to be slammed to the ground and cuffed. A little compassion and clear thinking, may do more good than putting someone in jail. Oink-a roo.

  4. You can believe she went out and bought another bag of dope. And there are probably five other guys who got arrested sitting in a car with her while she got let go because she has a pair of tits. Way to go

  5. This touchy feely bs prevails in Portland, which is why the city is overrun with drug addicts and dirtbags that make it unsafe for law abiding citizens to live there. If you are brave, take a walk through downtown Portland, and try to find a single building that does not have plywood where windows should be, graffiti on every accessible surface, and bums shitting and sleeping in every nook and cranny.

  6. That officer seems to be a wholeheartedly good and compassionate person, seen him a couple of times and he's always willing to listen and understand and helping instead of only punish u 💖 need more of this kind! 🌷

  7. I can totally understand giving someone their first chance, now when you check them out and see they’ve been arrested for the same thing multiple times forget it…their freebies have been used up 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

  8. I genuinely hope, for her sake, she had a good long think about where she wants her life to go,but being a Cop myself &knowing what an evil drug meth is, it's just too hard to know how things might have worked out for her,I am an Australian officer, but the problem is no different here, it's just not on as large a scale as it is in the U.S.🚔
