The Oklahoma Highway Patrol dashcam video was released this week of the high-speed chase following a deadly bank robbery last month.
One person died in the armed robbery at the Bank of Eufaula in January and since then, more information has come to light. In addition to the dashcam footage, law enforcement released tapes from troopers and police giving a more detailed picture of what happened when the suspect, Cedric Norris, was being pursued by authorities with hostage Julie Huff following the armed robbery.
At first, Huff was mistaken for a suspect and Norris mistaken for a woman because he was dressed in feminine clothing. Huff was forced to drive the vehicle, described as a white SUV, and eventually led it down a road with a dead end.
Eight minutes after leaving the bank – OHP forced the white SUV off the road and the high-speed chase ended.

Norris had been allowed to leave the Texas prison in March 2012 despite
still needing to complete prison sentences of 60 years and 10 years in
Oklahoma. Norris, 39, died during a shootout with police following the
robbery Thursday at the Bank of Eufaula in eastern Oklahoma.
