In late-June 2018 a handful of media outlets covering the northwestern United States reported on a series of unprovoked attacks on the streets of Seattle. In each case passersby had been confronted by a mentally ill male, and in each case that confrontation had turned violent.

This video tells the story of one of those attacks, as seen from the perspective of responding officers. It provides a rare behind-the-scenes view of unredeacted conversations between officers throughout their investigation.

In this incident, the two victims were on their way to a screening of “The Incredibles 2” when David Dandre Ailep began following them down the sidewalk. Press play and join Seattle law enforcement officers as they piece together what happened.

  1. “I like RaTM” bruh, you’re literally the machine they’re raging against.

  2. People need to learn how to respect people and not fuck with the homeless if someone would’ve stole my shit I probably want to stab him as well

  3. I don't care what anyone says about this guy, the minute he started beating people he has to be removed from society. Otherwise it is perfectly OK to beat up anyone you come across. Our society won't function if all of us have to be afraid we will be attacked by some nut job.

  4. Usually when a mental people start ranting at me I just ask them directly what I can do for them this normally ends in disarming them verbally allowing me to talk in a none confrontational manner most times they just walk away unprompted unfortunately that’s to much for most people ✌️

  5. In the uk we have a care in the community system problem is the community don’t care in the last 5 in my town 2 or more occasions mentally unsound people have walked out of there house and been found dead from exposure or exhaustion days later 😞✌️

  6. THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE HAVE MENTAL ILLNESS…Polices aren't been trained dealing with people have Mental Challenges. Many have shots from the Police for no reasons….we're live in one of the most RICH educated Countries. But we can't afford to help thousands and thousands of Mental illness….🤬😱😢🤲🤲☻🐓🐙

  7. this guy had a youtube channel back in 2017 had a car and was going crazy he stopped making youtube videos

  8. This video is a perfect example of what happens if you DON’T physically fight police or resist arrest like ALL of the people the mainstream media call “victims” who end up dead at the hands of the police.

  9. thank you to the officers who took this guy off the street, he needs help and I’m glad that they were kind and firm with him.

  10. Poor boy is probably paranoid schizophrenic and needs meds. I just don't understand why the police keep talking to him like he's normal. He obviously needs meds.

  11. 3:35 I didn't know that they sell wigs in bowl cut styles.. 😏
But, even on a bad hair day this sergeant treated that man with a lot of respect and compassion. The guy talking about the internet and Craigslist – not so much 😒

  12. Damn I just wanna give the man a hug. He needs help and not being dumped on the streets. What he did was wrong, but what led up to him being in that situation is just as wrong.

  13. All you people crying about 'I feel sorry for the mentally ill, they need help' well how about feeling sorry for the innocent citizens trying to go about their lives without being accosted?
Once my then girlfriend and I were attacked by a 'mentally defective' street person and I got him the immediate help he needed…and he will probably never open another car door of someone else's car again. As citizen's it is not our job to care about street vagrants or to assess what kind of major malfunction one has as he becomes a threat to our safety.
    GTFO with that BS!

  14. 14:16 The little argument that ensues after this question is hilarious. Those two officers clearly don't like each other.
Hey you're not gonna like EVERYone at work right? 😆

  15. It’s the same guy from the other homeless man attack video. The one where the guy was going to marry Ellen.
