Forsyth County, Georgia — On Saturday, August 6th 2022 Dawson County Sheriff’s Office issued a Be On The Look Out for a silver Ford Focus missing a front bumper and had a paper tag with 4 females inside. They had just shoplifted from the Outlet stores and were heading south on GA400. One of Crime Reduction Unit deputies spotted a Ford Fusion driving erratically on GA400 south and with a paper tag and had 4 female occupants. After following the vehicle, the deputy initiated a traffic stop based on the reckless driving and the BOLO information provided by Dawson County. The car stopped on the side of GA400, and the deputy used his PA to give commands for the driver to exit the car. Instead, the car fled. After a brief chase, the deputy performed a Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT).

The occupants of the vehicle complied with deputies’ commands and were taken into custody. They were identified as 27-year-old Brenaldia Stephens of Atlanta, 20-year-old Deshauna Herd of Atlanta, 21-year-old Jasmine Canty of Conyers and 23-year-old Marquita Thomas of Atlanta. A search of Thomas’ purse revealed she had $700 in fake U.S. currency. Deputies also learned that Canty had a warrant out of Gwinnett County for hijacking a motor vehicle. Dawson County took custody of Canty and Heard, and Stephens and Thomas were taken to the Forsyth County jail. Brenaldia Stephens was charged with Reckless Driving, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude and Possession of Marijuana. She is being held on $8,915 bond. Marquita Thomas was charged with Forgery 2nd degree and is held on $4,420 bond.

  1. Funny thing is I hadn't even watched the video yet. But, when I read 4 women shoplifting then fleeing in a car, I already knew it was going to be the usual suspects up to no good collecting their reparations…!! LOL

  2. Just reading the names of the scum plus it being near Atlanta…I’d like to solve the puzzle, plus throw in some extensions. Thank you.

  3. This is Damm good police work. Just goes to show what can happen if the cops are actually allowed to do their job and stop criminals. He wasted no time taking out the car and taking control of the situation to stop a potential threat

  4. 4 woman cannot drive a car only one person can drive a car if I was the passengers I would sue the police and they're friend for negligence.

  5. Bruh how do you get pulled over by a blacked out pursuit charger and casually think "I can outrun him" in your little ford sedan…?

  6. Walk backwards and hold hands up oooh my god … to complicated you have to pick one, i cant do both. Y'all just trying to get a reason to shoot me

  7. This is how Georgia cops operate. I keep telling people f around and find out, especially if its Georgia State Patrol, you are just done, don't even try to run. All that nonsense you see in the news does NOT happen here in Ga. The only strange thing about this video is that I NEVER see any police on 400. Just a bunch of idiots racing expensive cars 100+ mph 24/7. Maybe things will change soon, hopefully. This kind of group theft happens all the time and they get busted everytime. Happened in Henry county alot too. Also had a similar setup with 4 women who started a fight and hurt a waitress pretty badly and left the restaurant without paying. Caught them too lol. Atlanta breeds a special kind of stupid and our officers have to step up their game to respond in kind. I give them the upmost respect when I get pulled over because the chance of them being highly stressed from the previous stop is about 100%.

  8. Quick, decisive action, cutting the pursuit short before it even got rolling. Eliminated the hazard before it became one. That's how it's done.
