In my first moto vlog, I discuss a couple of commonly misconceived or misunderstood ideas on a couple of “rights” people think they have, but don’t.

Ok Cop Story,; I was a Deputy Sheriff Patrol in a County with a Military Base. I was finishing Dinner (2130hrs) and paying and a guy came up to me with a trainee in uniform. He asked if we took custody of AWOL Soldier. I said sure (I'm a Retired First Sergeant). I cuffed the guy and told him I' m taking you to the gate and turn you over to MP's. We start to the Post and the trainee goes hmm you haven't rea me my rights. I said I don't have to, I'm just transporting you to the gate, and he kept goin on about reading his rights. I finally pulled over and keep in mind (not bragging, showing why I'm soo pissed.!!!!I (Retired 1SG, Former Drill Sergeant, and I'd been home from Iraq less than a year) turned and asked him; are you a lawyer-no, a cop-no, a security guard-no. So I told him to shuck the f34k up !! I don't want hear another word from you. Dropped his ass at the gate. End of story
Cops: encountering the most intractable, unpleasant ppl
Rest of us normies: …we’re not with them…
There is a process in place every where in the U.S.A to follow if and when one disagree's with a law enforcements demads. Thus simply complying is advised, and then follow the process if and when you believe the agent is or was incorrect. DON"T RESIST is a lot easier, safer, cheaper than non compliance.
How did Miranda Rights get the name Miranda? Was there a person named Miranda that for some reason these rights became necessary? Not being sarcastic, honestly curious.
In To Catch a Predator, they read suspects their rights well after arresting them, but BEFORE DOING ANY OFFICIAL INTERROGATION. If I understand it correctly, they don't necessarily have to read you your rights before arresting you, but do need to read you your rights before doing any kind of interrogation that is meant to be admissible in a court of law.
There's alot of talk about legal but what happens when it comes to lawful?
Yes I know, they don’t care, I don’t care😎
Here’s a sobering thought. The people who write these tv scripts spreading all this made up legal trash are actually on the streets among us
For all police who honor your oath to the constitution, thank you. For those who don't, just remember: There are no friends among thieves. Think about it.
Cops are trained to get evidence. Your mouth is a great source! If you didn't do a crime you can blab your head off. If you did you probably ought not to, but people like to talk and criminals are generally not so bright. Is it a trick if the guy tells you he did it?
If I give you a Uno reverse card, will I be free?
Cops are not all bald and ugly! Besides some people love bald! And no one is ugly
i got arrested once i cooroporated and got free in a day
I am always respectful to my officers if I got pulled over
So, distracted driving is a thing. Lucky for Mike, if he gets pulled over, he's a cop, so probably no ticket.
So. If or when or whatever. You arrest me for being drunk and disorderly in public and you me in cell to sober up, you don't have to read me my meranda rights even if ask, tell or demand (like that's ever going to happen 😅)?
Gonna be honest with you dawg
I don't know my rights as a USA citizen
Yeah back in the day I got picked up on a warrant that was a decade old. I was so sure I was going to cause trouble because I wasn't read my rights. I was extremely disappointed when I quickly found out that it wasn't necessary to do so because the arresting officer wasn't investigating me or anything so yeah. No reason to read me any rights. Nothing I said or could say at that point could incriminate me.
You don't have rights, you have privileges… Temporary privileges that can be taken away at any time.
I bought a shirt called 'Things you should never say to a cop'. Several officers have seen it and amazingly, they laughed at it.
9:48-''Hot pocket'? I thought inmates get more than that!
Do you know your rights? Probably. But do you know your lefts?
The other one I always thought was funny is if you ask an undercover if he is a cop he has to tell you🤣
If you knew you're rights you would shut the fuk up🤣
‘I know my rights’ means ‘ I watch tv’
G'day Mike, greetings from Australia. Love the vid. BTW I'm also thinking of becoming an Officer of the Law in Australia.
I'd honestly let the first guy go.
"Cops love it when you know your rights….that way they don't have to read them to ya when they take you down town, to the precinct, where you'll be put in jail, and denied conjugal visits, except from a huge guy you don't want one from!"~George Carlin
I drive exactly like you do!!
I live in a small town and honestly there are a lot of times that the officers we encounter here are ignorant which comes off as abuse of power. It makes sense because due to their ignorance they abuse power. For the most part I think police are good people.
