Detective Thomas Lynn – Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department
Detective Thomas Lynn of A.C.E. (Auto Crimes Enforcement) spots two passengers in a parked Dodge Ram truck with paper plates, who appear to be doing narcotics. Detective Lynn pulls up behind the Dodge and tells the driver to shut off the vehicle. Disregarding Lynn’s orders, the Dodge slowly pulls away prompting a car chase. Detective Lynn follows the truck into the back of a commercial building and crashes into a chain link fence. In a moment of desperation, the driver throws the Dodge into reverse and rams Detective Lynn’s vehicle causing his vehicle to be momentarily out of commission. Once he is able to get his vehicle restarted, Detective Lynn finds out that the driver had bailed his truck and is in custody. The Dodge Ram is discovered to be stolen. Inside the stolen Dodge Detective Lynn finds needles and other drug paraphernalia.

  1. I learned something in this one. I always wondered how the cops could get the numbers off the plates to call in when they were driving around taking corners and stuff. I see now that they have a reader under the hood. A mystery solved.

  2. Unfortunately there is a device to shut the car off if it is rolling backwards and drive for too long so as not to damage the torque converter and transmission so being there at knocked the police officer backwards it shut the motor off to avoid damage he had to put it back in park restart the engine and takeoff just so if this happens to any other person in the future reading this you may know what the hell is happening have a good day

  3. I never feel bad for people like this; oh, you didn't know you hit the officer's truck? Ok. Lie all you want, with your cross necklace, etc. You can't fix stupid. All you can do is control how you act.
