I’m going to stay pretty silent on this one, as I am curious to hear y’alls thoughts on this stop – and particularly on the interactions that followed.

Thats why if u ride dirty keep a big ol can of black pepper in your car 😂
Cop: Ok if I search the car?
Guy: Do you have probable cause?
Cop: no that's why I want to search the car
That's messed up. I thought you searched BECAUSE you have probable cause. I usually am on the cops side but this isnt right.
It’s important to not consent because if the cops search it anyway an attorney can get anything illegal found thrown out. Furthermore, if the cops use a dog there are circumstances where a dog alerting to something can be challenged & evidence thrown out. It’s also important to ask the cop “Am I free to go?†By doing this you’re not consenting to being detained for an unreasonable amount of time which an attorney can also use to throw out evidence.
This is the first time I've seen a police unit that's a pickup, instead of a Ford SUV or sedan.
charge with a position of Newport with attention to distribute
That cop wanted drugs worse than a heroin addict.
waste of tax payer $ and a waste of 30+ minutes of my time
no probable cause.bullshit search.again ,cop breaks protocol and their oath.
J Consition ✌ï¸
WAY TO VIOLATE THE MANS RIGHTS. FUCK THE POLICE!
Washington state is giving free joints for vaccinations and they are still throwing them in jail for a roach.
I feel like no matter what since these cops are on live pd they will ALWAYS call the dog to search for no reason
“They’re not giving consent, so we will force it upon themâ€.
This was harassment.
Outstanding work by this police man identifying “suspicious†people in the neighborhood and ruining their lives. Very reasonable
As that pig searched high an low only threw all them Newport boxes only thing I kept hearing in the back of my mind was in my best ice cube voice "fuck the police coming straight from tha underground!"
This is an ad for Newport cigarettes.
Profile much?
Why are they even worried about weed alcohol is so much worse!!
I don't consent to the dog searching either. Lawsuit waiting to happen.
The lesson here is if you do not consent to their unreasonable search they will bring a dog out to do an unreasonable search
That was a LOT of empty cigarette packs.
It none of your business what they are doing these cops need to fired
DAM!!! ALL UP HIS ASS AND HIS BUSINESS!
Smh!
People!
don’t give Cops the satisfaction of going through your stuff! Keep your car clean and leave unnecessary stuff home.
I feel so violated just by watching this!
Lot of moving parts to Probable Cause and the best thing one can do is shut up the 5th amendment is for innocent men not people with something to hide Ohio v. Reiner SCOTUS!

What did we learn? He smokes Newp Newps
This is simple harassment by police that don't understand we have a constitution. Pulling a guy over for no belt is ridiculous and bringing a dog after a refusal is an illegal search no matter what the lawyers say.
This is such an humiliating situation. I know how they must feel, and the entire time I'd be praying that the cops do not plant any drugs in my car.
He said you cant search the car you dummy officer. Obey my authoritay!!!!!
He's trying waaaay too hard to find something
Cops be like “hey man, this your phone and wallet, right? Just want to make sure I got the right one†as if he didn’t just completely fuck them over for no reason.
They searched his car and the passenger with no probable cause except for their race and criminal history.
This should get tossed out in court
Stick shift in that suv?
We know one thing: this dude sure smokes a lot of Newports lol
All because this man asked why he has to get out of the car the cop just assumed there is drugs in his car. What’s the purpose of asking if it’s ok to search the car if they gonna do it anyway regardless if you say yes or no?? I don’t understand that at all..
I AM PRO LAW ENFORCEMENT..
BUT HONESTLY.. WAS ALL THAT NECESSARY..
??
All that over no seat belt?
don't give consent and then they go get a dog. that seems like a stretch of probable cause. defund the police!
I’m pro-police, but this was uncalled for. He told the officer what he was doing there and gave no reason for any search to occur.
Wow, How irritating.. Destroying his vehicle and not putting things back.. They were looking for a reason.. cops like this give the good cops a bad reputation..
Illegal as hell. At thirteen minutes in it had to end. Guy said the magic words "Ain't got nuthin" so the cops have to pack up and leave.
