@CopsConsTV obtained body camera footage of an incident that involved a DWI incident after a single car crash. The suspect was found inside his truck and deputies smelled alcohol. The driver admitted to drinking and crashing his vehicle.
During the transportation to perform a field sobriety test the suspect offered the deputy a bribe. The field sobriety did not go well for the suspect and he was placed under arrest for DWI.
While in custody at the Sheriff’s Office the suspect was able to pick the lock of his handcuffs and he proceeded to escape out of the police station window.

They really need to spend money on proper detention facilities. Unless a prisoner is in a proper cell, this is most definitely not a cell, then at no point should they be left alone. Did not one cop hear all the noise or what. That is one very unsecured police station

I doubt the officer was reprimanded, and he should NOT be, he followed protocol and this was NOT on him, but on the suspect. That camera up overhead…useless. Yeah, he is responsible for HIS suspect, but this is forgivable, any reasonable commander would cut the officer a break for this. Officer was busy doing paperwork, his job, anyway. Did not realize the suspect would take it to THIS level. I would let it slide. Internal review of security procedures is needed here, changes made to policy. Stricter security measures, one example, remove trash can, all items from cell, other measures, like perhaps TWO handcuffs to the rail. Or a different cell! This is an office, not a holding cell, lol. And many other security changes. Thanks again, Cop Watch. He apparently busted a piece off the trash can used it to break out of the cuffs. Maybe he has been to prison before, lol. Those guys try EVERYTHING haha. Most everything. Plenty of time to plan.

had he not been drunk with an injured leg, that dude could have made a good distance, though they would have quickly caught him. Had he been near a major city though? This dude might actually have gotten away for a long time. It is not impossible. ESPECIALLY if he stole a vehicle, and that vehicle was not noticed stolen for a good period of time. Wow. STUPID for driving drunk, but this dude is slippery, sneaky, his behavior, that is. Which is also manipulative.
As the officer started driving him to the station, I was really ticked off. That is an AWESOME song on the radio and loudmouth back there is ruining some great music listening. If I were the officer I would be SO tempted to tell this dude to SHUT UP. Would have cranked up the radio if I did not have to listen to the scanner!
