It's because of clowns like this folks don't stop their vehicle when being perused (if that happens phone 911 and say is the real cops behind me and when confirmed pull over and while on the call say to the handler where you are and are driving to a police station).. I am not great with US law as I live in Scotland but is having a loaded firearm during a crime make the crime worse? How does the right to bare arms affect this? And last question sorry… Can a peace officer who is off duty from his usual place of work be employed by another company to do security / traffic duties etc but sill use their patrol vehicle and fire arms?

I remember seeing this original video recently. The police handled it well, taking their time confirming what was going on. You’re either a cop or you’re not. And this dude was not. Trying to pass himself off as one to a real law enforcement officer – with a plastic badge nonetheless- was astoundingly stupid. The stupidity was only surpassed when he begged them not to arrest and ruin his changes of becoming a real officer someday.

All I gotta say is this day an age…having a rifle when doing any POLICE function is not a bad idea with previous ambush cases we’ve seen. But also, you just never know what’s gonna happen.
