DWI in ABQ – Everything Law and Order Blog

Considering the consequences, this guy is surprisingly chill about his DWI arrest. Mind you, I’m not referring to the consequences of the DWI alone. Rather, Mr. Archibald’s DWI appears to have been a violation of his conditions of release on charges of battery a couple of months prior (see case number T-4-DV-2017003144, ultimately dismissed).

Archibald pleaded guilty to DWI (2nd offense) on July 18, 2018.

  1. Normally u dont go on a yellow till the intersection is clear cuz then you wont get In an accident wait til light turns red u then can proceed if no one looks like they are going to come through the red. Not a good idea to assume the guy is going to stop even knowing its yellow

  2. Damn, Holy Crap at least they don't make you close your eyes 👀 and hold your head back and touch your nose anymore 😜. Maybe 😏 they had too many concussions happening.🤯🤪🙄

  3. This vato is being a bad representative of Burque. We don't need no more negative attention, eh! Chale, homes!!

  4. BAC is “.18 and .17”
    “Wow”

Dude probably thought it was going to be higher. You could tell he has done this before, “yupp” “yupp” “yupp”. He knows the drill. At least he was respectful and polite.

  5. That's a hefty dose of ibuprofen. Prescription strength starts at 600 mg. I'm sure he has pain on a daily basis to be taking that much, but I'm also sure his liver isn't thrilled that he's also drinking alcohol.

  6. I only got 5 minutes in and could already tell he was intoxicated, the kid was clear, concise and stable the douche drink driver was hesitant, unstable and you could tell he was internally trying to make his excuses "I'm on medication" "i have knee problems" " I'm a bit shook up" i bet you are douche, stood at the scene of an accident you caused intoxicated surrounded by cops and firemen who are trained to spot inebriation, shook up I think you meant nervous, I have no sympathy for drunk drivers especially when they're also on mobile phones to, take his licence and throw the book at him

  7. I love seeing these awesome apd officers doing their thing. Im from albuquerque nm so i see this all day but its good to show the world of apd officers are good people.

  8. I lost my best friend to a drunk driver! His daughter was 2 when he died. It was two days before Christmas too! People who drink and drive are horrible! You’re putting so many people at risk over you drinking and getting behind the wheel! Just don’t.

  9. God you would think that after the first DWI you would never risk it again. This guy really needs to get his shit together and not put the rest of us in danger. I live in Albuquerque and the DWI problem here is rampant.

  10. Unfortunately our entire state has a big problem with drunk driving. I've seen so many reports on the news here in Albuquerque of tragedy because of alcohol.

  11. Never do the field sobriety test. If you feel you are being accuses of DUI refuse all in field testing. They can and do convict people on DUI just based on how they walk during these tests. If you have a back or leg injuries for sure do not attempt these tests. Have the after hours number of a lawyer with you and refuse any testing until they get a warrant for a blood test.

  12. This police officer must be extremely short. On a side note….good ol' Eubank, I really don't miss Albuquerque at all!😐

  13. I have no sympathy for those who drink and drive. I don't give a fuck if they are normally a "good person". Good people don't make decisions that could kill someone else.

  14. This had to be the calmest DUI arrest ever. Thankfully, no one was badly injured or killed. There are so many options rather than Driving after drinking. People that make the decision to drive after drinking are very foolish and selfish.

  15. Hope the kid that was involved in this saw how the drunk driver was arrested. Takes a note and learns just how dangerous driving drunk is and never does it himself

  16. I read your description below the video. You thought he was surprisingly chill about being arrested? What's he supposed to do? Jump up and down, ranting like a maniac? Yes, I've seen people do that, but, to what end? They never get out of the arrest, and, sometimes, just incur extra charges. 99.99999% of them know they're guilty. Might as well go peaceably and suffer your due consequences.

  17. From the start point he give two difference answers what's happening
From here I saw he is under DUI
Yes don't try stupid ways do not talk two ways
    Be straight away
He said he come from home on his way to his office
    Wow
    Good investigation officers
Your work is out the tax book of law
    May God bless you
