East Hartford, Connecticut — On May 19, 2024, at approximately 3:29 p.m., East Hartford police officers were dispatched to Governor’s Auto Body & Repair, 200 Governor Street, East Hartford on a report that a male had displayed a firearm at one of the tow operators. This arose out of a dispute surrounding whether items were missing from a vehicle that had been towed into the auto body shop the day before. The first arriving officer, Officer Brian Altamirano, observed a white Infinity in the parking lot. A male was in the driver’s seat and a second male and female were standing next to the passenger side of the Infinity. A second East Hartford police cruiser, operated by Officer Daniel Guilfuchi, arrived at the body shop and stopped near the Infinity.

Officer Altamirano exited his cruiser and asked if anyone had any firearms. In an effort to escape, the Infinity drove forward crashing into Officer Guilfuchi’s cruiser. The white Infinity then reversed, quickly moving backwards knocking the two people on the passenger side to the ground. At that time, they were holding two children. While Officer Guilfuchi was in the process of exiting his cruiser, the Infinity drove forward again colliding with the front of his cruiser. Officer Guilfuchi discharged his duty weapon approximately six times at the Infinity. Officer Altamirano also discharged his duty weapon at the Infinity. The Infinity, operated by an unidentified suspect, fled westbound on I-84. The vehicle was ultimately located abandoned at 14 Tredeau Street, Hartford. It was later determined that the vehicle had been stolen.

  2. “I think this would be a wonderful opportunity to pause for a moment and give thanks for the great contributions of the black community to our society. Their peaceful and generous nature makes them ideal neighbours, lending testimony to their exceptional family values and parenting skills unrivalled by any other culture. Their child-rearing practices and skills mixed with their unparalleled work ethic are second to none. Their rationale and logical thought toward circumstances coupled with their innate capability to de-escalate situations is to be envied and coveted. Their commitment to academic excellence enriches our schools and serves as an example to all who hope to achieve prominence as a people. Real estate values are fuelled by the mix of African-Americans into an area due to their caring and respectful nature of these communities, an example of all they have achieved through their enthusiasm for self-improvement, hard work and a self-reliant nature. Without their industrious and creative drive, we would be poorer as a nation.” Abraham Lincoln, the Watts riots address

  3. These ppl are dumb asf he tryin 2 flee and they casually trying 2 get in 🤔🤔🤣😭

  4. You’d think he would’ve been glad the cops arrived to help retrieve his “missing items “ but his brain went tilt

  5. So, the guy STOLE a car and drove to a body shop to confront them for STEALING from a car in their shop. AND a family tries to get into the stolen car as police arrive. Did they mistake it for their Uber ride? I can’t wrap my head around this.

  6. Pilots listen to instructors for years & train on a simulator for months before flying. Our criminals are listening to shrjmpdjck af hiphop & playing GTA from birth

  7. Dude almost kills you and your kids and you are not telling the cops who he is? Nah. I get the not snitching thing for petty shit but when someone nearly kills your or your family that is no longer snitching.

  8. Did you guys see that chase with the women in the van she was ramming people and officers left and right but they didn’t do anything for 2 hours she was white

  9. Unfair. Suspect was simply reaching out to the community for financial assistance, he was starting his fist semester at Harvard and needed money for books.

  10. they the same color so they wont talk about who the driver is, then they complain about innocent black people being discriminated by cops when is just common sense to think you doing something wrong when you around the same people doing something wrong. They wanna get rid of that stereotype but they keep droping school, sell drugs and stole sht, you cant erase something that u keep doing no matter what.Lately even at younger ages i see them with many criminal record, guess its getting into their dna
