Ex-cop caught speeding 150 mph in 75 zone – Everything Law and Order Blog

On July 22, 2022, Arkansas State Police Trooper Korbyn Freeman stopped Steven Lowell Sale for Driving Extremely Fast. By the end of the traffic stop, Freeman issued citations to Sale for speeding (150 mph in a 75 mph zone), reckless driving, driving without insurance, and failure to register vehicle / expired tags. Sale, it would turn out, had been a cop.

Notably, even after telling Sale that he did not believe that Sale was running from him, Freeman still maintained to two other officers that Sale had looked directly at him prior to gunning it down the interstate.

Also notable, on or about September 8, 2021, Sale and a co-defendant were charged with having hunted migratory game birds over bait. Judgment on that charge appears to have been withheld.

On August 27, 2008, Sale was arrested on southbound Interstate 530, near the #3 mile marker, for reckless driving. He then failed to appear in court and was adjudicated guilty on both the reckless driving and failure to appear charges, for which he respectively received probation and a $310 fine, and a $250 fine.

Regarding Sale’s current charges, his arraignment is scheduled for September 6, 2022.

  1. SURE AS HELL CAN'T DO THAT ON A HARLEY POTATOE POTATOE BIKE!! BUT IF HE WERE NOT WHITE THEY WOULD HAVE SHOT HIM CUFFED HIM AND BEATEN HIM THEN THEY WOULD HAVE TRIED TO ASK HIM QUESTIONS!!!!!!

  2. Ok. Here is a problem with this. He got off to easy because he was an ex cop, if it were any other person they would of slammed him on the ground like they always do. Treat everyone equally doesn't matter if ur an ex cop or not. The law was broken.

  3. He looked like he was drunk? The way he fell off the bike and the way he stopped the bike….anyone else, would have gone to jail.

  4. Isn't this the same cop that got dusted by the same Chrysler 300 TWICE? I guess this is the only way he can catch his suspects….. They actually have to stop for him 🤣.

  5. Can't wait till to watch the video of this trooper when the roles are reversed and he's in the hot seat begging for a break. Im gonna laugh out freaking loud when he hears…."well then you know better." 😄😄

  6. Just another officer getting a break none of the rest of us would have. And they wonder why people don't trust police or the system.

  7. I love how the Troopers kept saying he's former LEO he knows better, when Leo's are the ones speeding up and down the highway more then anyone

  8. This is not professional work. The man is diabetic and handcuffed. I think there should be more education for you than this on how to deal with a person for each special case

  9. Man oh man, if he had wrecked going 150, they would have been picking up parts of him for years. He can’t even get off if it without wrecking!! 😳

  10. Oh Lord. That's just pitiful. I was thinking he must be drunk but he's just old and not very experienced at riding. Geez. And that buttcrack. Dude, wear a tank top tucked in or something. Nobody needs to see that.

  11. 150mph I would not be looking back , you wouldn't hear the siren . All that and he pulls a Brandon at the end by falling off his bike.

  12. "I understand why you're former now" Ouch that's a sting and a half, but seriously of all the dumb things to do hitting 150mph seems like an obvious "I shouldn't do this". I feel like those who run above 120 should have to surrender the vehicle (assuming not stolen) where it can be either crushed or converted into a police cruiser/police bike.

  13. Does NO ONE catch how how many times this cop goes back & forth [depending on who he was talking to] as to whether or not the dude saw him or didnt…or whether or not is was eluding?! @RWP, how'd you miss THAT?!
Then he gets his wounds tended to by the cop then cuffed to the car. FOH! How many of us that led a cop on a 150mph chase wld get that treatment? Only an EX-COP bcuz that's the most action that young good ole boy has seen behind the wheel IN A MINUTE!
    FACTS!

  14. Accepting responsibility is the mark of a good man. Those marks on his arms are what happens to you when you get older.

  15. i was kind of waiting for him to fall off the bike when he got it loaded on the tow truck. i was sitting here thinking "omg he just fell off it while it was on the ground, now you are gonna raise him up higher for him to fall again?"
