​@CopsConsTV obtained body camera footage from a 2019 incident that involved Rio Rancho Police Department Officer and a Rio Rancho Fire Department firefighter.
Then police officer Adalida Lopez was on duty, when she met up with her boyfriend Nathan Esquibel, at the Rio Rancho Fire Station where he works.
A domestic incident occurred in the parking lot that involved both of them. After an investigation into the domestic Lopez was fired from her police department for lying to her supervisors on who broke out her police unit passenger window.
Nathan Esquibel was arrested on duty after the incident but his case was ultimately dismissed because Lopez did not want to pursue charges against her now husband.
Adalida Lopez was fired from Rio Rancho PD and was then hired by The Bernalillo Police a month later. Lopez was then fired from Bernalillo PD after she struck a suspect in custody and lied about facts of the case. The previous video involving Bernalillo PD is also on our page.
Rio Rancho Police blurred Lopez’s face during the records prior to release and it was not our decision or policy to blur.
