Volusia County, Florida — Around 12:30 p.m., deputies responded to assist the Ormond Beach Police Department on a report of an in-progress theft of a jet ski. The suspect (Ronald Williams, DOB 3/4/1974) had been unable to get the watercraft started, but decided to float away on it anyway. Nearby, a family was about to head out on the water for the afternoon, but instead they allowed deputies to take their boat over to the suspect, who was still floating in the Intracoastal Waterway trying to get the jet ski started. Williams was taken into custody without incident and the jet ski was returned to its owner.

  1. YEAH! That is just a BEAUTIFUL THING!!! This video MADE MY DAY!!!! It doesn't get any better! I used to be a port security officer and we busted thieved on the water (in our own craft) and on land. Nothing better than seeing citizens and LEOs working together to STOP A THIEF! Man, this was PERFECT!!!!! USA! USA!!!

  2. If he couldn't get it to start how did he get it out that far? Was he kicking his legs behind it?

  3. Oh the cop should have said move over I’m taking your boat this is a police emergency lol Even though in real life that would be not cool and you would probably get fired for that

  4. Most of the people who say “acab” and talk trash about the police are majority suburban Whyte kids who grew up middle to upper middle class but decide they want to be revolutionaries and speak on behalf of minorities

  5. "Why you gonna take a jet ski if you dont know how to swim?!?!" lol. Surprised the cops asked the boat owner if he could drive them there, and the owner made the right call, just let em have it, no need to get caught in a potential altercation.

  6. Dear Mr. Police activity: FYI, police in or near Columbus, OH, released footage of an OIS … a guy got out of his truck and pointed a (BB) gun at a cop and was shot …. video was released about 5 days ago …. 😎
