FTO Joshua MacMillan – Fontana Police Department
Officer MacMillan attempts a traffic stop on a yellow motorcycle for speeding. The cyclist stops at first, but then suddenly rides off starting a pursuit. The suspect rides into oncoming traffic three times before entering a freeway. After several miles, the suspect exits the freeway and appears to have trouble getting the bike into gear. He brakes and taps MacMillan’s bumper causing him to crash. He is taken into custody and claims he ran because he hadn’t checked in with his parole officer. He is arrested for a no bail warrant and felony evading.

  1. The most dangerous time in your life is when you get in a car, or are on a bike/motorcycle…we have written laws that allow cops to essentially own you when you are on a street with wheels. 99.9% of all stops are made in this fashion. Wanna go to jail? Buy a car/ride a bike.
Or, reconsider rewriting the laws whereas cops and traffic violations are not the end of the world scenarios?
edit: Cop says, "the bike was rattling, and my fear was he might hit another car, or the bike would go down…"

Then stop chasing him, and everyone you mentioned would be OK. You do have birds, right?

Cop: "Do you realize how many people you put in danger today?"

My answer: So did you. Rewrite the laws. The cops are only doing their jobs. Obeying laws.

Rewrite those laws, so a minor traffic violation is not a chase-down. Deescalate. Not intimidate.

  2. That bike was an oversize moped. If you gonna run in two you gotta have one that'll put up a real run. Try it on a YZ1100 then ill be interested. Pos got stuck in 5th gear. That's why he was barley moving after slowing way down…

  3. I noticed when the officer said put your hands behind your back his hands were black ( not trying to be racist ) I think I assumed he was a black person but then when they were talking to him was white wtf😂
