Former WINK 11 Reporter Hannah Vogel Arrested for DUI – Everything Law and Order Blog

On Saturday, October 12, 2019, at approximately 01:40 hours, Naples Police Officer (now Sergeant) Brian Kazmierczak was patrolling westbound on 4th Avenue North in the area of the Naples Police Department when he observed a white 4-door vehicle later identified as a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta, traveling southbound on Goodlette-Frank Rd N passing 4th Avenue N at a high rate of speed. After the vehicle passed, Officer Kazmierczak pulled out west across Goodlette-Frank R N, through the median, turned right, and stopped in the southbound lanes facing south. visually estimating the vehicle to be traveling at 65 mph and confirming the same via radar. After catching up to the vehicle and activating the emergency lights on his patrol vehicle, the vehicle was slow to react, eventually pulling over on U.S. 41 E at Pine St.

Once the vehicle stopped, its driver was identified as Hannah Louise Vogel, a now-former reporter for WINK 11 news.

Following the administration of field sobriety tests, Vogel was placed under arrest.

On January 15, 2020, Vogel pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of reckless driving, for which she was sentenced to probation. Her citations for speeding, failure to produce proof of insurance, and open container were all dismissed.

  1. Half of the 9 step test is just seeing how long it takes to Explain the test to the 'suspected' drunk driver. The longer it takes to understand the instructions, the more likely they are Drunk.

  2. Hey she is a real cutie but super annoying. Smart girl not taking a breathalyzer if she was smart enough she wouldn’t take any test.

  3. This officer has the patience of a saint, I wanted to reach out and smack the shit outta her and say 'grow up bitch, you drank, you drive and you got caught'….'mommy ain't going to save you'….'no one cares how f'ing uncomfortable you feel'…..waa, waaa, waaaa. 'Just go to jail and stfu'

  4. Well, the local court bombed this one with the reduced charges. But you don’t get ahead in South Florida without knowing someone.

  5. "Ive never been arrested before and I am in shock." Imagine the shock she will have next morning when sober, tickets everywhere and a suspended license for a year. She looks SLAMMERED!

  6. Instead of asking "Have you ever been arrested before?" he should have asked "Have you ever been caught before?"

  7. Ladies, always keep tennis shoes or flats in your trunk in case you get pulled over for field sobriety test😊😉

  8. I am so sorry officer I am just nervous. Oh look how pretty I am, you can't ticket me. What a joke she was so trying for the pretty card, officer not buying it. 😀😀😀

  9. "I'm sorry ,I've just never been arrested,I mean so im really unfortable, im shaking, im sorry I've just never been arrested so I don't know what to do so im shaking and im uncomfortable Im sorry. Im not trying to be rude did I mention Im sorry and uncomfortable and shaking and that I've never been arrested before." I JUST WANTED TO SEE HOW MANY TIMES I COULD USE THE SAME WORDS OVER AND OVER AND TRY TO UNDERSTAND HOW SHE DOESNT REALIZE SHE HAS SAID THE SAME THING LIKE 100 TIME ALREADY, DRUNK OR NOT GET REAL SHE ISNT THAT DRUNK ,I MEAN SHE SHOULDNT BE DRIVING BUT SHE ISNT THAT FADED TO WHERE SHE DOESNT KNOW SHE SOUNDS LIKE AN IDIOT…

  10. she keeps saying she feels uncomfortable, she is lucky she would feel more uncomfortable if she got in a wreck

  11. "I've never been in this situation before. I'm nervous. I'm so uncomfortable " she wishes she could have another drink to relax herself, I'm sure.
We were all nervous and uncomfortable watching you drive all over the place before you finally stopped.
