Patrolman Richard Hutnik – Hazleton Police Department
Hazleton Patrolman Hutnik arrives at a location where a father has notified police that his son has barricaded himself in his apartment and is threatening to shoot his girlfriend should anyone enter. With the fathers help, the officers break into the apartment and begin to search for the suspect. As Hutnik goes to retrieve the gun, officers locate the suspect hiding under the kitchen cabinet. Taken into custody, the suspect apologizes for his behavior and reveals his mental health issues. He claims his intention was never to harm anyone, but to have a conversation with his father. Officers decide to take the suspect to hospital for a 72 hour mental evaluation.

  1. he is no chizo…he is smart enough to hide in a cabinet…so let him widen his ass in a prison..they need fresh meet, dont wait too long until something strange happens with him and he s killing someone !!!!!!

  2. So sad! My ex boyfriend was diagnosed as bi polar & schizophrenic, he went "off" about the time we broke up, he was messed up for years & then stable for awhile, they messed up his meds & he committed suicide. That was 15 years ago, still feel bad for his family

  3. Why does someone with mental health issues have access to firearms?

Let's take it a step further. Why would you want to have firearms when an adult member of your family has mental health issues?

Could a liable case be made should god forbid that this gent goes off his meds and goes on a shooting rampage?

Does anyone else see this as being as issue?

  4. I blame sugar for the behavior that kid got into :/ sugar and drugs are so rotten it literally ruins your entire life and makes you do extremely stupid things

  5. Why didn't they turn on lights while searching the house? I've seen this in other episodes too. Do they keep it dark to add a dramatic effect? Does the dark somehow give the cops an advantage?

  6. I don't think he is schizophrenic. It goes back to the old saying," crazy ppl don't know their crazy". He is too aware of what is going on. I'm definitely not a doctor, So, I could very well be way off on this but, he just dosent seem to have that particular disorder.
