Officers in Kansas City struggle with a distraught man bleeding from deep cuts made with a butcher knife. Medics arrive and determine the intoxicated man needs to be treated for the self-inflicted wounds. Officers are dispatched to a call no one wants to receive when a motorcycle officer is involved in a life threatening traffic collision. A 911 hangup call leads officers to a woman screaming that her boyfriend has attacked her, but she soon admits to using crack cocaine before passing out.
A theft suspect is questioned after having matched a description. An officer responds to a call of a runaway. An officer encounters a fugitive for the third day in a row and an arrest is made.

It's real easy to stare, point and laugh at some of the things that Police have to deal with on this show, but it's important to remember that being a Police Officer is a very dangerous job.
