Sauk County, Wisconsin — On July 23, 2024, at approximately 11:06 p.m., an officer from the Sauk Prairie Police Department attempted a traffic stop on a red minivan in their jurisdiction for a possible intoxicated driver. The vehicle fled from the officer, disregarding traffic signs, and a pursuit was initiated. The vehicle was driving recklessly by the suspect, 32-year-old Jeffrey Miller, traveling at a high rate of speed on HWY 78. The license plate for the minivan was obtained, and the pursuit was soon terminated. A Sauk County Deputy came across the minivan minutes later on HWY 113 near County Road DL and followed the vehicle towards Baraboo.

An officer deployed Stop Sticks in an attempt to stop the vehicle southeast of Baraboo on HWY 113/Water St near Manchester Rd. The vehicle continued northbound around the Stop Sticks, traveling at a high rate of speed, eventually crashing a short distance later. As Sauk County Deputies arrived at the crash location, Miller fired gunshots toward a deputy before running off westbound into a wooded area along HWY 113/Water St near the southeast corner of the City of Baraboo. One deputy was grazed by a bullet but has since recovered from his injuries. Miller got away but was found several days later on July 26, holed up in a home in Amherst, WI. Miller refused to exit the home and after a standoff, he was found deceased inside of a residence.

  2. So, did I hear correctly? There was another adult and 3 children still in the minivan when that guy fired at the officer? Holy crap. 😱

  3. Ich brauche ich brauche ich brauche ich brauche ich brauche ich brauche ich brauche ich brauche mein Gott was ist los mit dem🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

  4. Why these younger cops mouth so filthy, that's why nobody respect them, the cop said that shots fired and he got shot, then when asked where he got shot he said that he is good, he can't be trusted.

  5. More LEO's are killed by white males every year than any other race/sex. For those who don't believe this, Google LEOKA and get the facts directly from the FBI.

  6. Assuming 1st Officers sidearm was a Glock… malfunctioning after 7 rounds in that situation?!? Good God – not good, not good at all! 😮

  7. did frags from a round strike his weapon what was the malfunction he ran into with the pistol that he could not clear? Could he have mortar the pistol on the car bumper?

  8. spend a little money on flir cams you know the boat one has a remote
mount to top of the fancy suvs or maybe a drone in trunk

  9. Aftee watching a few of these videos back to back i have come to a conclusion. I am by no means downsizing, demonizing or saying i could do a better job. I know these are extreme conditions. With that said, it looks like our police need some more extreme conditions to advance their target practice. Like extreme conditions set up for them to practice at. More real life stuff and also dealing with that doped up pos that nothing seems to stop. Firing at a paper target that isnt firing back while standing behind a car isnt helping these police at all.. 20 shots and none hit, its a few days more training. I am talking in general, not necessarily this video or these cops. Its some extreme shit out there and i do have full respect and no ill thoughts about our law enforcement. Stay safe

  10. To all who are watching this and by chance reading comments — You see how these officers are reacting to this incident this is basically the same reaction you will receive if you call 911 for a break In to your home and you need assistance they will not enter your home until they have sufficient back up , so from time of call ( 911 ) until officer arrives is 15-20min and an additional 15-20min before entry so tops 40min do you think you would still be alive if suspects came to rob or just whatever before entry in made if suspects didn't want to be caught at all at any cost..??
So why are there so many people against the 2nd Amendment and the ownership of a firearm if this happens to law enforcement what do you think the stupid criminals will do to an unarmed public.. Only slaves are disarmed look back thru history you can't conquer the armed they don't just give up so don't give up a right to a privilege. Yes register them for your safety as others and push for Death penalty for gun violence with no appeals and no insanity plea or cop out an eye for an eye crazy or stupid doesn't need a weapon and we don't need anymore breeding we have enough now running around.
If they can't live in a governed society then put them down we don't need or want anyone Bad apples spoiling it for all.
Thanks to all that understands and thinks before throwing rocks 👍👍👍👍✌️👋
