On Tuesday April 9, 2024, a routine traffic stop on Highway 351 took an unexpected turn when a Craighead County sheriff’s deputy pulled over a white SUV driven by 64-year-old Joseph Straub of Paragould, Arkansas. The deputy initiated the stop after noticing Straub’s vehicle repeatedly crossing the center line, raising concerns about the driver’s behavior.
