This is why I don't drive drowsy anymore. I woke up in my driveway after a graveyard shift with no recollection of half the drive home.
I go on patrol at 1600 and am off at 02. I can’t tell you how many times in my thirty minute drive that I have realized that I’m home and don’t have any recollection of anything after leaving the station.
well, at least I'm not THAT old yet
As a kid 40 years ago I sadly watched as a dazed driver in front of me went through a red light and right into an unsuspecting vehicle. Watching the victim in that vehicle get hit so hard that he went into shock was a sobering event. Really opened my eyes to being a responsible driver the rest of my life. 40 years later, not one accident or even a speeding ticket.
You left out the part where you wake up sitting in your car going how did this happen.
Aye it's Tom Segura
Even worse is in my younger years I would test my fate & drive home from the bar when even I knew I shouldn’t. Luckily I grew up & didn’t kill anyone in the process. Waking up, still technically drunk, looking out & seeing your car in the drive way with not a clue how it got there, is terrifying!
That autopilot is scary as F sometimes
Yup that happens a lot…
I'm a swing shift HazMat trucker, try driving 150 miles and realize that I passed my delivery 20 miles ago…..:-)
Been there
autopilot on
BEEN THERE DONE THAT MANY TIMES
One to many times
Yes it scares me sometimes.
13 straight years working 2300-0900. Can’t tell you how many times this happened!
Me when i used to drink 😂😂😂
Yep, those Saturday morning drives home are spooky sometimes
Go into the checklist:
-Is there anything/anyone stuck to the front bumper?
-Is the electrical messed up and do I feel like I might have been probed?
